At Ocean Creation, we reserve the right to change or update any of the information on this website at any given time, and without prior notice. However, it will remain our responsibility to keep the website as up to date as possible, and to inform customers of any policy or legal changes.
The product you choose from the shop, will be the exact item you receive. The reason for this, is that each piece of sea glass is unique and can never be completely recreated. Therefore, it would be impossible for us to sell multiple of the same photographed product. If the product is sold, it will be taken down from the shop as soon as possible to avoid multiple orders. In the unlikely event that a multiple order occurs, the item will be shipped to which order was placed first and the orders thereafter will be contacted with other options. These options will be to cancel the order and receive a full refund or to be given a time frame on how long it will take for another to be made as close as it can be to the original listing, and make a decision on whether to proceed with the order or cancel and receive a full refund.
Our products on the shop may also be listed on Facebook and Etsy. If the item is sold through either one of these, it will again be our responsibility to ensure that the product is removed from other selling platforms.
All prices are shown in UK pounds sterling. They include any VAT payable, and are inclusive of UK delivery charges. For international shipping, a delivery charge will be payable and should be calculated when you check out. All products will be sent via Royal Mail. This includes international orders.
We aim to dispatch your order within 2 days, however, we cannot take responsibility for any postal service delays due to the current pandemic or any other reason. If your order has not arrived by the due date, please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com. From there, we can chase up your order to see what progress it has made.
If you are unhappy with your order, please contact us within 3 days from the date of arrival and we will endeavour to help you. If you need to return the product, we ask that you return it in its original packaging within 7 days and I will be happy to give you a refund. Please ensure that it is well packaged to avoid damages. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for the returns address. You will need to pay for the return postage and I recommend that you get proof of postage from the Post Office.
As sea glass is a breakable item, we encourage you to take extra care when handling the product. We cannot accept responsibility for damages due to mishandling of the product. We may provide a care guide with each item of jewellery, alternatively, there will be a care guide on the website in due course. Although I have no jewellery for sale at the moment, this may be the case in the future.
If items are placed in a high moisture environment e.g. bathroom, I cannot take responsibility for damages relating to this. For example, condensation may or may not occur. This may ruin paint, sea glass, the frame, and paper. It may also weaken the glue used. I have tested a piece in the bathroom for period of time and it seems fine, but I cannot accept responsibility for any long term damage that may occur. Also, due to the temperature changes in places such as the bathroom and the reasons listed above, I cannot predict what may happen to the frames and therefore cannot issue refunds based on this.
